Most importantly, he is listed as #1 on the 2 deep which implies starter. That said, I think we had folks like Cozier listed as a starter when he had pneumonia and didn't play at all.
Time will tell.

Joe Lang (no.23) left the Colgate game in the 3rd qtr with (what looked like) a knee injury and did not return. Will be interesting to see if he plays tmro - he’s a good one That was one I was wondering about. Perhaps they held him out rather than risk greater injury with the game decided.

History tells us not to pay too much attention to the 2-deep when trying to figure out injury impacts on a given week’s lineup.

Talking about the title seems presumptuous to me when we have very competitive games left. Take them one at a time and just win!

It's amazing that Gilmore is even able to compete with the team he inherited. 2019 is definitely an interesting year for the Patriot League.... Has there ever been a year where Lehigh, Lafayette, and Colgate were all in "rebuilding" phases at the same time?

Does not Lafayette frequently rebuild ? Does Lehigh’s record indicate a rebuild ?

Has there ever been a year where Lehigh, Lafayette, and Colgate were all in "rebuilding" phases at the same time? He inherited a good amount of talent. The 3-8 was more the result of a injury decimated OL and a leaderless coaching staff. TG and staff recruited very well. Crusaders are young. Lehigh is very young. Floyd sitting in the 1st half an issue for sure but not a major one. We rotate 4-5 CBs during games. Spencer has started a few and played in every one. Not a big drop off. Little doubt HC has the better team right now. Not a big gap but its there. Lehigh will have to play its best game if the season to get this W. Key I think will be limiting big plays. A bane for us all year.

Has there ever been a year where Lehigh, Lafayette, and Colgate were all in "rebuilding" phases at the same time? Lafayette has been in the gutter for the better part of a decade. They had a fluke PLC several years ago, which bided Tavani some more time as head coach. Despite their investment into their football facilities (they can thank Mr. Bourger for that), I think that school probably cares less about athletics than HC. I can't remember the last time the league's "flagship" schools all struggled so much in the same season. I think something is going on with Hunt in Hamilton. Going from advancing deep into the playoffs last year and picked as preseason PL Champs the following year and a preseason Top 25 ranking to the dumpster fire they are now just doesn't smell right. I know they lost their OC to Elon, so maybe that was a bigger loss than many thought.

Am I correct in believing all of our major players are healthy and ready to go for this game? i'm afraid that my banged up knees will still keep me out of this one!

FWIW, this years early opponents were MUCH tougher for Colgate than last year's schedule.
This year Lehigh certainly paid them back for last year’s debacle.

Almost all of them should have a year of eligibility left if they go back for a double major.😂 Maybe two years since they did not play freshmen year.👍😂

I see Steve Jutras on occasion at church and he had a potential NFL career and he still looks like he could suit up this weekend.

Am I watching these highlights through purple lenses or do these other teams not seem to have the overall quickness on both sides of the ball that we have this year?
Probably biased but I doubt any other PL team has the complement of offensive weapons, overall team speed defensively that we have.

Fordham team speed and atleticism is the best in the PL by a good bit. Holy Cross and Lehigh are about equal overall. Crusaders have a decided edge in WR speed.LU lost 2 fastest WRs. A 5th year to coaching change and other to a Achilles tear. Hoyas just a bit behind in overall speed.

I saw Fordham v SBU in person and Fordham was essentially destroyed and looked comparatively slow. I have to say HC did not look comparatively slow v UNH and I viewed the whole game on computer. I'm not saying UNH is quite as fast as SBU (although they did beat SBU in a very close game) but I was impressed by HC's improvement in team speed and nothing I've seen this year has made me think otherwise. I do think Fordham - like HC - has good or very good (by PL standards) team speed.
