Going for a comeback in the standings. I expect (like Yale) Lehigh to be gunning for us after the blowout last year, but I don't think they are quite good enough. I also think we have different systems and our guys are more familiar with CTG's systems than he is of us.

I have mixed feelings here. As a solid Holy Cross fan (no secret there), I want the Crusaders to win big and to take the PL Title at the end of the season. However, I am also a fan of TG and want him to have success at Lehigh (except when they play HC). I expect Lehigh to be well prepared...which would make an HC win even more meaningful.

Due to the facts that we dominated Lehigh last year and are much better this year (IMHO), I expect a relatively easy win.

I believe HC will win but I do not expect anything about the game to be "easy" for the Crusaders.

OK, time for a comeback weekend - I've got
- Holy Cross (Degenhardt has to continue his positive trend or this could be very close) - Fordham (they might hv the best ooc win this season with their W over Richmond) - Georgetown (their D has to stop the anemic Raider offense)

IMHO, HC;'s win o ver UNH was probably a better one than the Ram win over Richmond. UNH (#26), Richmond (#48) according to Massey.

Georgetown-- Hoyas looked good in beating Columbia by 2 TD's in NYC and then handling Cornell upstate. Since then Gtown has come doen a bit losing by 3 to Fordham and @ Lehigh while nipping Lafayette in DC. Colgate has played one decent game in the last 5 in beating Cornell. Georgetown still has the better team and the home field advantage.
Fordham- Rams get the slight edge at Lafayette
Holy Cross-- Crusader have looked pretty solid in the last three games and the offense, so frustrating in early games, is coming into its own. Lehigh has improved a lot of late but I think we'll be able to move the ball. Look for some big gainers by our receivers

Georgetown Fordham HC
I was really close to picking Lehigh. The game last year was a total outlier. Lehigh had tons of injuries, a coach dealing with terrible medical issues that forced him to retire, and possibly the most horrific weather I've ever sat though for a game. I think Lehigh is really hyped for a revenge game, without even factoring the Gilmore aspect. I just couldn't pull the trigger because of our D, receivers and Oline. This one will be really close, or a blowout Lehigh's way.

Watching a Pop Warner team against a high school team. Lowly Wofford down 35-0 midway through the second period at Clemson SC.. Massey ranks lowly Wofford above HC.
42-zip with four a half minutes to play before half-time. ____________
Snow piled high on the sidelines in Boulder. Always a discouraging sight in early November.
