We cannot stop them right now whether they start on 10 or 50. Why punt?

They have found the mismatch with John Smith and now picking on him.

Punting from midfield on 4th and 3 with 21 minutes left and down three scores. Do not agree! “One of the greatest offensive minds in the game today.” Yes, the good placement of the punt didn't solve anything. We can't voluntarily give up possession of the ball again now.

This DL isn’t good. They make zero plays. Disagree they are on the field for way too many plays this scheme allows good passing QBs to pick them apart underneath and on occasion the deep ball hurts

We should be playing for 4 downs here, yet we try to go deep on third and long and punt down by 24. WTF are we doing?

Monmouth outhitting has an older team than HC, especially with redshirt seniors (2), graduate students (2) and 5th year players (7). We'll se how m much HC Is hurt by this difference in experience. Needlessly institutionally handicapped. Have to do something to even the playing field.

We should be approaching our drives from here on out in a four down mindset. So if it’s 3rd and long, let’s look to get half of it back and make a 4th down play manageable.

A good season all in all.
Really can’t complain much about winning the PL in year two under Chesney.
Now, expectations are greater heading into a year three.
I really hope the offense catches up to the defense. If it does, we’ll be a top 25 team.
If today has showed us anything, it’s that we’ll have a QB completion heading into camp next year. Degenhardt, Considine, and Butash should all be vying for the starting job.

This DL isn’t good. They make zero plays. This is nonsense. Don’t conflate their play today to refute everything they’ve done on the defense to this point.

Degenhardt, Considine, and Butash should all be vying for the starting job. If they are going to continue with this system, they need a true, dual threat QB like we are seeing with Monmouth. If not, we need to get a new OC and change the offensive philosophy to fit the personnel.

We need to get a new OC regardless.

With one quarter to go in this season -some thoughts It has been a nice result overall PL Championship achieved Good leadership from the seniors Talented group returning Recruiting continues to improve Special teams continue to be an asset
Needs for spring and summer
Settle on a single QB from the group returning -Considine throws a one speed ball Recruit size and quickness Coaching staff needs to grow and mature-frequently appear to scrap the game plan way too early- this season we were a running team with good speed at the skill positions Evaluate systems for both sides of the ball for the talent on the team

If that earlier xp hadn't been blocked and you kick the xp after that last td, we'd be down by two scores.

Tough end today but a great season. Monmouth is very good. Lots to talk about all off-season. For now, a huge congrats and thank you to all of our PL champion seniors who were a big part of the program’s turnaround.

Monmouth shows us what a real RPO looks like with a dual threat QB, WildCat, quick hitters, and tons of different looks. Every coach in the Patriot League should be taking notes if they want to continue running this system in the FCS.

Crazy thing is, if the Monmouth QB can't run (ankle issue) against JMU next week, they will be in trouble.
Live and Die by the RPO.

Cozier should be able to get an invite to a NFL training camp. Is he a prospect?

Not that it would have changed the final result, but sure would be interesting to see how the game would have played out if Considine played from the first series.

Considine has done a great job competing. To be honest, should have probably played more this year.
