Maybe a Bo and definitely a Bubba on next year’s team. Crossports will have fun using nicknames instead of initials to identify the HC players.
Seems kind of strange that the HC game action picture shown on the tweeted the is of Caleb Green.
At some point we will know how the scholarship is available given the current roster. A roster restructuring could be underway based on the perception of strengths and weakness of the current roster by the coaching staff.
Since the Women’s team currently have two scholarships available, maybe we can borrow one for a year. I say this last sentence in jest. Please don’t take it seriously.
According to Verbal Commits HC has offered Kyle Cuffe, 2021 from Blair Academy. He has offers from HC, Manhattan and Stony Brook according to VC. Has anyone seen him play. Breezy HCHoops, any observations?

Bo's school, Lausanne, is a high end private school in Memphis, my wife's home town. Web says the school has students from 55 countries with international students accounting for 33% of the student body. Marc Gasol is a grad.

I suspect he is aiming higher than his current offers but one never knows.

Interesting player-where do we get the extra scholarship for this class? Not that this would explain the apparent lack of an available scholarship, but has there been any discussion about Lovisolo's decision to transfer? I have been traveling the last couple of weeks and haven't really been paying attention.

Lovisolo is never going to play at HC so it would make sense for him to transfer if he wants to get on the floor. If he is transferring, I wish him well and hope he finds a place where he can be a meaningful contributor if that’s what he wants.

Holy Cross University. Swell.
Mind-boggling that someone offered a 300K education can't get the name of the school correct.

And now Verbal Commits is showing him as having entered the transfer portal. As a walk on, of course, his transfer won’t affect the scholarship situation.

While a player can verbally commit anytime, is the NLI for basketball closed until the spring of 2020?

I noticed Lovisolo was not at either of the last 2 games. Wish him luck.
I had thought we had been able to put schollie slot speculation in the rear view mirror, but I guess not. Wondering if either a) he has been offered a pay 1, get 3 years free deal, or b) the offer is contingent upon him doing a post grad prep year (meaning Bo).

As to Lovisolo, I believe he was sitting in the student section at the Harvard game. Are we sure he's in the portal instead of just deciding to leave the team? Verbal Commits might just assume him leaving the roster means he's in the portal.

I can think of a local prep school near the HC campus he might attend. I doubt he is being offered preferred walk-on status for one year but who knows. It’s all speculation and probably would remain that way if Bo makes a commitment in the near or even not so near, as in the spring, future, to HC.

We have already assumed that Sandy isn't on scholarship - thus freeing up the surprise schollie for Rabinovich - which may not be a valid assumption. So now, apparently, another player on the roster, whom we thought had a scholarship, doesn't - or plans to leave (end of semester?). Guess we should be watching the Transfer Portal News closely in the coming days/weeks.

They definitely do not monitor rosters. They get information from Twitter and a few other recruiting sites, plus emails from fans and someone who has access to the portal.

1) As a walk-on, would Lovisolo be required to sit a year assuming he does transfer?
2) Based on the fact we have seen tweets like this from Lovisolo, Yeutter, and Hart, is it possible Montgomery would be a walk-on?

From the pic at the top here, it doesn't look like an HC background and that Nelson took a quick trip down to Memphis to make this offer (or whatever it is) in person - which would leave me to believe it's not a 'walk-on' opportunity - this staff is doing a good job of keeping us guessing here on the schollie arithmetic for 20-21

If Lovisolo does transfer, he can get a written release from HC saying he can get immediate eligibility...The NCAA has to agree to this, but it seems it would be a no brainer....zi know, it's the NCAA.....

He believes the kid is a steal for HC if he would commit, William and Mary is coming to see him play In answer to an earlier question would he walk-on -- highly unlikely.
