CRW 'borrowed' a scholarship for a rostered player for a year, used the scholarship for another player for that year, and 'returned' the scholarship the following year. The player continued to play during the year his scholarship was 'borrowed'. Who was the scholarship used on? Willard never had 13 scholarship players plus the player you’re referencing here on a roster. If Zach Paterick is the player you are alluding to, nothing was borrowed there. SOV is correct.

He gave up his scholarship and left the team. He did not return. IIRC that was why we had a scholarship available for Cavataio.

In an 80-64 win last night Tyson had 40, 19-25, 1-1 from three, 14 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 block, 1 assist.

Started 13 games his senior year. Greg McCarthy's scholarship was also not borrowed. As you said, he played all four years, and you don't get to shift someone into non-counter status against the schollie limit (13) and keep that player on the roster at the same time.

I know the rumor he is referring to and he's incorrect. Both that particular player (who started 13 games the next year as a SR) and Zach Paterick were both among the 13 scholarships that season.
2006-2007 Roster
1) Keith Simmons 2) Torey Thomas 3) Tim Clifford 4) Pat Doherty 5) Kyle Cruze 6) Colin Cunningham 7) Lawrence Dixon 8) Alex Vander Baan 9) Greg McCarthy 10) Eric Meister 11) Andrew Keister 12) Adam May 13) Zach Paterick 14) Victor Vaval 15) Nate Cornish
1-13 were on scholarship. 14 & 15 were walk-ons and not on scholarship.
