Rob, your standards are so much lower than mine - but that’s your privilege I suppose - Jenay and so many of our players are inept around the basket (referring to guards and small forwards)

I merely listed some stats that you omitted from your post. Perhaps my standards are simply looking at all of the stats to try to form a more complete picture of the player's effort.

I sort of agree with you and have previously voiced frustration over their inability to finish around the basket but your comment caused me to go look at their career stats vs this year's, and surprisingly enough, the only player under performing statistically is Ezemma, and dramatically so. Everyone else is performing above their career stats, particularly LaBarbera, whose fg percentage has increased from 38% to 45% and 3 pt % from 33% to 43%

Someone else posted the stats, not ph. Jenay had a good first half and a dreadful, second half, just like the entire team. She, along with Manis, Swords and Smith totalled 20 tos which is unacceptable, especially against a mediocre Loyola team.

Sometimes the defensive pressure is so thick the choice is between a probable turnover, tie up or throwing a low percentage shot up with the hope of at least getting fouled in the act of shooting. Unfortunately the refs can't blow the whistle on a blackboard.😊 The team makes some poor plays, but so does every PL team. At least we are ahead of UConn, ND, Baylor, etc. in 3 pt. percentage.
