Other than Maryland, this is the best rebounding team Holy Cross will have faced this season. Our performance on the offensive glass has fallen off considerably the last three games, but we've had consecutive 80%+ nights on the D-boards - will need a plus effort on both ends against the Midshipmen

While I like the rebounding efforts as much as anyone, I'd like to see us have a game where we end with more points than the other teams, whether they out rebound, out shoot, or out free throw us.

HC is gonna' win in front of a packed Hart. LoveHC The second part of your prediction will only come to pass if Navy brings thousands of Midshipmen to visit the home town of the guy who created the Naval Academy.

Yes, born at Worcester City Hospital in 1946. But it was George Bancroft (Secretary of the Navy under Polk) who founded the USNA.

Didn't know that Sader. Interesting reading. I'm surprised it was moved back to Maryland. If it had remained it could have been part of the Big East with HC.

Al Gore could not have founded the Naval Academy. Remember he created the Internet (or claimed he did).I imagine that took him some time.

I think Alfonso Gore is the son in law of John F. Kennedy, a factory worker from Boston who ran statewide for one of the minor Constitutional Offices and almost won based on his name alone.

Louis Armstrong had a song "A kiss to build a dream on". In spite of the poor grammar, this is how I look at how the Crusaders performed against Loyola. The Crusaders have six or seven pretty good players and a decent starting five. Two of the best players are freshmen. They were in the Loyola game until the very end and would have won if not for an all world performance by Kostecka. I'm looking for a similar effort against Navy as I see this team continue to evolve.

Sadly, last night during the Siena / Monmouth game, the announcers, referenced Siena’s win over the Cross. They dismissed its value as an indicator of how Siena is doing with these cruel words, “By any metric, Holy Cross is one of the worst teams in the country”. Man, did that hurt. Is the Navy game on Stadium TV? I enjoyed watching the Loyola game and would like to tract the team’s progress as the season progresses.
