Was looking at Lauren’s scoring average and projecting her career total - based on her average so far this season of 18 pts per game, she will be right there with a very good chance to crack the 2000 mark for her career

Also a cinch for 1,000 rebounds - could reach that next game, I believe.
When it's said and done, she'll rank third all-time in both categories (with a chance at first all-time in boards)

Are there other 2000 point scorers ? Sherry Levin (2,253) and Amy O'Brien (2,075)
Janet Hourihan (1,178) and Kathy Courtney (1,101) are the only ones with 1,000+ rebounds. Believe Manis has 989 at the moment, and is averaging 12/G this year - with at least 18 games left, 1,200 is certainly within reach.

I would love to see HC go on an extended post season run, both in the PLT and in any of the national post season tourneys from the sublime (NCAA Big Dance) all the way to the ones you pay to play in. Combined with Lauren absolutely exploding and taking over some games, that would provide an opportunity for her to give Any O'Brien a run for her money as the highest scorer during HC's time as a D-1 team.
I would enjoy another "Yaz watch" which was the interminable but addictive wait for Yaz to reach both 3000 hits and 400 homers which was quite a feat back in the day.
I have been priveleged to see Sherry Levin, Amy O'Brien and Lauren Manis play. They each had a determination you can't teach.

If you watched today's game you have to agree Lauren is not playing at peek performance to do what you suggest above. In fact, if it wasn't for her great rebounding, the other parts of her game look downright ordinary. I think she'll get better through the next two months plus.

Manis was not great today.
The body of her work is remarkable.

Nothing ordinary about Manis' ability to shoot. She just didn't have enough chances today. I few low post plays near the end were unstoppable. Her foul shooting automatic. Fun to watch, as is this team so far. On to the PL schedule, where you can't watch the men and women playing at the same time. This needs to be fixed!
