A win is a win. It's all this team does. People love to stress over little things. They are 2-0 in league play. Both wins on the ROAD!

The HC team on the court in the second half was a far cry from the one that played so poorly in the first half.

They were sloppy at times, and defense was poor in the first half, but thought they asserted themselves end of 3rd quarter and beginning of 4th.

Navy is a terrible offensive team. Nice to get out of there with a win, however.
Faulkner a big concern.

Dominate 2nd half by HC Out scored Navy 36-22, rebs 23-12, only negative was Megan's struggle from the line where she was 2/8

Pete the announcer was classy as he praised Swords, Ezemma and the whole team and was quite knowledgeable of this year's squad and HC WBB historically.
He'll be in Worcester tomorrow to be the Navy radio voice. We have some good veteran broadcasters in the PL, including Dick Lutsk who you can tell love what they do. And we have some young announcers who might not be as smooth yet but are still eager. You have to salute the PL for making it all free for the fans.

Nice comeback with Avery and Megan leading the way - I don't want to sound too critical, but this team has a lot of room for improvement and it starts with Manis and Smith - they are so important to beating the likes of Bucknell and Lehigh - I believe this team has the talent to win the championship - we just need to improve every week toward March

It's official. Manis has joined the 1,000 rebound club.

I agree. Pete Medhurst did a great job with the play by play for today’s game. Was very complimentary and impartial in his play calling. Very refreshing to hear.
For those who want to be really entertained while watching a game, subscribe to the PAC-12 network, the games where Bill Walton does color are a treat and fun to listen.

I didn't listen to the game. Frankly, I forgot. I know my classmate, Pete Rojcewicz, has announced many of the ladies basketball games in the past and was a WCHC sports announcer when we were in school. I gather from the posts that it was a different "Pete" (though I know he's had a couple of on-air aliases). I'll be at the game tomorrow and see which "Pete" is there.

The Houston Rockets started in San Diego in the late 60s... Walton said as a high school student he played playground ball with a bunch of these guys, some interesting names. www.basketball-reference.com/teams/SDR/1969.html
