For the players who stuck around some after finals, I believe the school made some arrangements with neighboring colleges to use their facilities. It's reasonable to assume that a similar arrangement is still in place Hopefully for the safety of the team, they won't be forced to use the consortium shuttle to get to the other gym

That worked for the team for many years. Why add the travel time to another campus if there is no need to do so?

It isn't their home court, that is the drawback...and locker rooms are, well, not there...BUT it is on campus, hoops and backboards...Life goes on and EYES ON THE PRIZE!!

Perhaps SoV was referring to the quality of the court. IIRC, on the old board when discussing the urgent need for renovating the OFH, there were loud complaints about the playing surface.

The Women's team is holding individual and team workouts with the coaches at nearby colleges. I believe they also play pick up there (without coaches). Players use the OFH to shoot on their own. The men may have a similar arrangement. It is planned that the Hart Center court will be available for use when in-season practice starts in early October.

The men's team is practicing at WPI and Assumption glad to hear that! the only entities that would benefit from practicing on the fieldhouse courts would be our players' future physical therapists and orthopedic surgeons
