and to think his injury was questioned! keyboard warriors should take note of what this real-life warrior has played through and how he stepped up and played so far out of position due to all of the roster turmoil.
ab is definitely one of my all-time favorite crusaders for his toughness and sacrifice he has made for the hc program.

I don't think anybody (or at least not that I can recall) ever questioned his toughness, determination, willingness to go to the basket with contact, loyalty to the program, etc. It is clear to all he has been one of our better players the last three years.

Any idea what the recovery time is for that type of surgery and, specifically, for a basketball player (vis-a-vis a baseball pitcher, a couple of which I've heard of having this procedure)?
Hope it's shorter than a rotator cuff, because it might delay his availability in 2020-21.
Regardless, odds are the pandemic delayed the surgery (either that, or academics).

Judson Martindale making a surge to the front in our little poll, passing HS teammate and previous leader Mike Rabinivich, No doubt the Worcester Academy duo has captured the interest of HC basketball fans

Wishing AB a speedy recovery What did I miss? When I read this entry, I thought it might be a leftover from last year when he had his surgery. Wassup?

Brandon Ingram had thoracic outlet surgery in late March 2019 and was ready to start the 19-20 NBA season. Full recovery at the time of the surgery was estimated at 3-4 months. Ingram had a very positive result and was having his best season prior to the covid shutdown. Hopefully AB has a similar recovery story.

I’m very excited to see everyone on the roster in Hart Center action. I’m more interested in seeing how the returning players perform vis-a-vis last year. With the new guys I’m just looking forward to seeing them all for the first time and forming initial impressions of their play. I voted for Wade and Faw because I have the highest expectations of improvement from them. And I’m most excited about a completely healthy Butler.

This poll is still open and it looks like a dozen plus of the usual board participants have yet to make their selections. Judson Martindale is our leader but I'm wondering if the recent talk about R. J. Johnson might attracts some new posters to his side?
