Ziggy first sub in for HC for PB...Ziggy travels I think Ziggy is one of several real wild cards for this season. He could be a big contributor. I'm anxious to see if he (and others) were in the weight room this summer

Free throws--always one of my hot buttons-- will come around, I'm sure. I think threes will as well--likely in the second half

Coming off a PLC, very disappointing I went to most hoop games during my day. Not sure I would have dragged myself up the hill for the Assumption scrimmage.

HC 63-48 final
If stats are to be believed, HC had six turnovers, Assumption 19.

Pat Benzan scoring a lot of points ....... benzan filling up the stat sheet is the highlight of the box score. 14 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists. fantastic news! a viable backup/replacement starter at point guard if at continues his struggles is the most important personnel x-factor for the success of the team this year. i would be delighted if benzan could be that guy. while he is also pretty small, i liked his energy out on the court last year in limited minutes. i would love to hear an account on benzan's performance tonight from anyone in attendance.

Based on what I saw in the first half and looking at the stats, Pat Benzan and Robert Champion were our stars. Malachi and Floyd played well. Most disappointing was Cohen getting two minutes and Matt Husek playing very poorly.

Husek played only 5 mins. Cohen, as true with many freshmen, may take some time. It took Benzan a whole season. of course, when KC returns some minutes will go down.

Floyd looked huge.
Husek not so much. Maybe on a conditioning offseason and less lifting from him.

Was the Offense a clearly Princeton type? No 1-3-1?
