Anyone know how serious the injury to Gates might be? How long has it been bothering him?
How many thought HC could pull this out without him in the game?

Anyone know how serious the injury to Gates might be? How long has it been bothering him? How many thought HC could pull this out without him in the game? Not playing two post players at the same time really opened things up for us today. Not suggesting we’re better without Gates but maybe it threw Army off a little. They gave Gates a LOT of attention in game 1.

I had the same thought. HC was a different team yesterday, with more players taking on responsibility for the offense. I thought they also looked quicker on defense, but that may be wishful thinking. Wednesday's game should show us a lot.

ADMB wore Austin’s #4 jersey for senior day. That was nice tribute that I had not seen before by a senior administrator during a game recognition ceremony.
Who wore Matt’s jersey? With mask on, I am not able to recognize.

With mask on, I am not able to recognize. I saw that and was guessing that he would switch to Matt's for the second half of the game

Whoever he is, he's tall for a non-player. Appears to be about the same height as Austin

Kind of beating a dead horse, but when Matt and Austin walked in the door in the fall of 2017, they were part of a highly regarded six man class. Half of them chose to leave the program More than half of their team mates from last year chose to leave the program
In conjunction with senior day, in addition to recognizing the hard work Matt and Austin have put in, we should also recognize the commitment to the program and loyalty in times of adversity, surpassing many of their peers.

I agree and I also think back to the comment from Mo Cassara on CBS Sports Network. When this class becomes juniors and seniors they will be competing for the league title. It' just did not work out. But maybe this new class will be that class.

Appears to be about the same height as Austin Very nice to honor the seniors by wearing their Jerseys, especially since their parents and family members could not be in attendance. After doing a search of the staff directory, it could be Jihad Ali who wore Matt’s jersey for senior day. Jihad is the Associate Director of Athletics for Business Strategy and Operations. According to his bio, Jihad played at Georgia State, and was a two time captain. Before arriving at HC was Assistant Athletic Director for Business at Oregon State. Nice to have PAC 12 Cred in his resume. goholycross.com/staff-directory/jihad-ali/323
