Can he pull a grandison ? No. JG is a more athletic and more complete player. He adds value all over the court. JP does most of his work in the paint but he's not big enough or good enough to do that in the Big 10 IMHO.

Has anyone seen the clip of Cuonzo Martin on Twitter regarding this stuff? His mother never talked about Hoops. Are you reading your Bible is what she asked him? Not about minutes. Not about bailing out on his teammates.
He basically said - if you're beating mistreated it's one thing. But if not if you just keep jumping from place to place, what happens when you become husbands, fathers, etc. and face adversity. Amen Cuonzo. Amen.
It's a joke what this has become. Absolute joke - and honestly no one can tell me different. Faw/Butler, completely different situation and applaud them thoroughly for sticking it out.
How about get in the gym for 3 hours a day and get better and earn your playing time. Honestly if I'm on another D1 team and a kid like JP comes along I'd be saying - why is this kid on the team? He's just going to jump to another team after this one. Because that's all he's done in HS and now College.

Pridgen has a chance for a unique (I'm sure) trifecta- transferring from one last place team to another and to a third.

I am confident there is no interest on either side in Pridgen coming back. Hope he finds whatever it is he looking for. Won’t be at HC.

Lafayette's Stephens on the list, 16ppg Another senior looking to play a fifth year. With Lafayette not having a grad school, they may be like Bucknell and not allow a 5th year.

I am not sure what you mean. Everyithing we need to know about what: transfer portal, rules for the Covid season, JP himself...or some other topic? Actions have consequences. IMHO, JP is going to learn that. He may move up to a bigger or better program, but he might also not do as well as he thinks in his next move. I wonder what coach might take a chance on him with his track record for jumping ship? Iona? Concerning your opening paragraph, I was wondering the same thing. As far as the second goes, perhaps JP will find that 2 portal forays in what, 10 months, could lead to many coaches not being interested. Of course all it will take is one. I do hope things work out for JP. One coach that would certainly look past such antics can be found plying his trade in New Rochelle, NY.

That is why I earlier suggested Iona - of course they could not hold onto all of their previous transfers, Proctor comes to mind, but that was a different coach.

three, the way I see it - the portal will be flooded because transfers will not have to sit out in 21-22 - lots of player movement for sure and it's not always the best move for many. I know this has been discussed, but has it been approved? As I stated before, I think it's a bad idea for the sport and bad for the athlete. I think most schools don't look too harshly on transfers. Not every kid picks a school that is a good fit for him. Doing it twice in two years might make some coaches wonder about whether this kid brings baggage with him. Guys like Grandison can find a school higher up the food chain that will take a chance on him succeeding at the next level. It's hard but sometimes that stretch can happen. While coaches are weighing the plusses and minuses, that stretch gets harder if you're adding things to the minus column
