Final HC 62-57. Must say, CU is better than their record - Announcer said they lost to Navy & Army by three each, so not bad

Colgate has talent. Admin spinning it as a rebuild. I think it kinda true - only played 9 games last yr, new coach & he seems to be going with the kids. played mostly Frosh & Sophs today

I think Golembiewki came in with the new coach. Should have more than 2 wins IMO

The game was won behind the arc. Cross' accuracy from long range has been a needed addition to the HC arsenal. Petro is a mystery, hope she can get untracked. You can see her guard skills handling the ball, see her height, but would like to put things together to add some scoring.

I miss Stadium. Price was right too. You knew that sweet deal was too good to last. Almost un-American to get something for nothing in the marketplace. We now know glitches were not all Stadium's fault. I just hope the PL/Schools are getting a few pennies from our $6.99/mo. because logically the league must have lost some viewers when it switched from free to paid subscription.

No Berger today and Ezemma and Demski only played 13 and 9 minutes. Strategy or health related? If strategy it worked by the skin of it's teeth.

I never found out why Bill Cleary left. He seemingly had done a pretty good job in turning the program around, including the 19 win season you mentioned.

Clearly is at St. Thomas Aquinas as head women's BB coach and Assistant AD and is 5-9 so far this season. Maybe his wife works in the metro NYC area? Doesn't seem like anything happened at CU that made him unemployable.

It's not an even playing field in the league (ex. facilities at Bucknell, Lehigh, HC, unlimited schollies at Army/Navy, location of American, BU) and programs like Colgate, Lafayette and Loyola are fortunate if they can find coaches that can keep them at .500 or above. That Colgate won 19 games is amazing. Don't know why things broke down there so fast. Seems unfortunate for everyone and the league in general.

There was some speculation that he had asked for a contract extension and was not happy that he did not get one.

I think Stabler is one of the three worst venues in the patriot league.
