Some of the program record times did not even finish high enough to score a single point in the PL championships - we are miles away from the top standards of the league

I never spoke about "top standards of the league" did I? I do, however, appreciate that some of our swimmers are hitting record HC times. IMHO, that is an improvement. There is still a ways to go.

To put our program in further perspective - yesterday the PL released their M & W all league teams - a total of 74 were honored on the 1st and 2nd teams How many program records did we set last weekend ? Yet we didn't have a single team member make any of the all league teams
I have said for awhile there is no reason to maintain this program if the school continues to underfund it and be satisfied with a glorified intramural standard I hope Kit can give it a boost

Kit now will make his first head coach hire. Give him and all the S&D student athletes a chance.

The college is requiring the coach to recruit, support and retain student athletes.
I wonder if this retention requirement is a new feature of HC coaching help wanted ads since the great MBB exodus?
Glad no outside firm is being used.

But is there a plan to actually 'compete' at the PL level ? which means serious recruiting which has been missing (esp on the men's side) forever - We don't need scholarships but we need a decent budget to expand our net across the country

The men's team also has recruits coming from Arizona, Illinois, and Texas for next year while the women's team has a recruit from Minnesota coming in. The team is already expanding their geographic footprint.

What is a Babson? Certainly not in the sports world. Babson doesn't even have football. It would be a lift for any D-3 school to be a bigger name in sports nationally than a D-1 school.
Overall Babson is a fine Institution as is Holy Cross.

Would you rather pay full boat at Babson or Holy Cross?

Holy Cross, unless I was guaranteed a seat next to Aly Raisman in all my classes, who was/is a student at Babson.

Very few schools have built a new swimming facility in the last decade, particularly on the east coast. Brown’s Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center, was completed in 2012. The Kinney Natatorium will be 20 years old in October of 2022. bucknellbison.com/facilities/kinney-natatorium/19Can anyone provide a list of new swimming and diving facilities, as well as the cost?

No new pool in the strategic plan developed by ADMB. Sasaki's campus plan has a 10-15 year horizon, so who knows what it may reveal. A new pool is a high capital expense, given the topology and geology of College Hill, unless most of the pool was above ground.
