While he might not be strong enough yet, I agree Lewis should have seen more minutes this year. Offensively I think he could have been a threat and appears, albeit after about 4 minutes in D1 games, to move reasonably well around the basket If he leaves, I think he is a potential big loss down the road I think we're still a little shell shocked from the mass exodus a couple of years ago. I don't think Lewis' lack of playing automatically means he is planning to jump ship

Being a contrarian and only to create conversation
He already made a mistake to trust Nelson’s ability to be a D1 coach, and ifNelson survives this season, why would he or any other player stay other than he loves the Holy Cross experience?
If before 2009 I would get it, but since then I would sprint to a bright future with my extra year

Lewis may have a bright future, but for whatever reasons, he has not shown it so far. He may be realistic and see the growth that Louth has made at a similar position.

However, Lewis is not a 5 unless he gain 40 plus
But with LC at the same time might make us significantly stronger in the PL and way more competitive in OOC games— but i dream alot

he should have followed your advice to panic with 4 minutes left. Nope, not panic. Just change his approach down eight with 3:25 remaining. Letting Colgate comfortably use 20+ seconds of the shot clock didn't seem very wise. What did you want him to do? Foul? Half court trap? Using 20 seconds doesn’t really make a difference at that point as long as we got a stop. The issue was not getting a stop — the issue was not about the defensive setup. If we got into a halfcourt trap (without personnel who could effectively do that against Colgate), and Colgate got a layup in 10 seconds instead of 20-25, it wouldn’t have made a difference. Listen, I get it that you think Nelson doesn’t know if basketballs are blown up or stuffed, but even your Skidmore Savior wouldn’t have been able to wiggle out of that deficit. As said in a previous post, we had a chance to cut the lead to 4 with ~25 seconds left. That was a pretty decent place to be in given where we were in that game.
