Have to think Tenio will have to go the undrafted free agent route. As we know, that path can work but it’s not easy.

UFA route can actually be better than getting drafted for a fringe guy, as an agent can shop him around to teams that are the best fit, rather than being forced into fighting an uphill battle in training camp by the team who drafted you only to be cut late.

I think EJ Perry (from Brown) worked out at HC - well no sooner did he show up at Jaguars camp that he was cut today - Talk about not getting a chance ? !

Looks like EJ suffered an injury, likely outside the team’s facilities, which entitled Jags to cut him loose without having to pay as much as an injury settlement. Welcome to the NFL, kid…

Luth was built for football. To be able to have events like this. Why does HC want to be like an Ivy when they have to come here for a pro day? Twenty-six NFL scouts who will talk highly of the facilities for HC football. No other sport can get you this kind of publicity. Does the majority of this board have Ivy aspirations ??

I don't get why people are obsessed with the Ivies. They are industry leaders in higher education and ancient football foes of the Crusaders.
Just because we play them regularly like we have for over a century doesn't mean HC has any desire to boycott the playoffs, reduce their schedule to ten games, eliminate scholarships or start drinking tea with the baby finger extended.
Harvard and Yale both were "RV" received votes in the final FCS Coaches Poll. Our only other FCS opponent ranked higher was Lafayette. Playing these teams does not bring HC down. Losing to Harvard hurt HC but you can't blame the IL for that.

I'd rather play Sac State/Richmond/SDS/Montana as our OOC opponents than Bryant/Merrimack/Yale/Harvard....It would advance our long term goals much better

I think the revenue to fund the trips for us or them would have to be found somewhere because the Bryant/Merrimack/Yale/Harvard games are all day trips.

Funding from FBS games could help fund the trip.

Funding from FBS games could help fund the trip. That being said, what did we do with the revenue from 2 FBS games this year? We didn't incur anymore expense than any normal Away Patriot league game, as we use coach buses as usual..

Wow! You guys find out so much stuff on "X" (formerly know as "Twitter")! So much news and all 100% factual stuff that I should consider joining. Nah, I'll just let you guys fill me in and let you skip through all the baloney on there. I'm sure Elon doesn't need my money anyway. Seriously though, great to hear about Ayir though no surprise as I think this was always his plan. He's gotta give Kalif a run for his money.

I saw this because I followed Chesney and it suggested I would be interested. Oh, and I unfollowed Ches this morning. If you use Twitter carefully, you can avoid the vast majority of nonsense. Plus, there are a bunch of accounts that feature old time baseball stories and pictures which I enjoy.
