I did not see the game, but teams shooting many threes, creates long rebounds for guards True, but if you get to see a replay, many of the rebounds the HC guards got were under the boards or at least in the paint.

BTW, is this the same team and players that one expert said could not beat a Div III team? Now stick it to South Carolina State at home. Massey makes HC a 5 point favorite with a 67% chance of winning.

Ideally, if the bigs do their job and box out, there are many opportunities for guards to rebound That was a staple of the RW defense.

Harvard is afraid of us. We have them spooked. 3rd straight W. Feels so good.

Too bad with the students gone, we won't have a big crowd for the first true home game.

Concern about the length of our bench remains - went basically seven deep tonight, and MZ has not been a factor in any of the four games. Expect we'll see one or more of the freshmen get some minutes this weekend.

Wonder what CBC's record is against Harvard since he coached against them when he coached Princeton for four yrs.

Only got to Lavietes for the second half, but I liked what I saw. The defense was active and disciplined, getting hands and feet in passing lanes and creating a lot of turnovers and some fast break points. On offense, we looked more to slashing players, with limited success, but did get to the rack driving the ball. Everyone played within themselves and they did hit the boards. I would like to see CBC stretch the bench some more, but Floyd got a quick hook after fouling a Johnnie on a three.
Also, NAD shaved his mustache but still looks as handsome as ever and as vocal as ever getting the "DEFENSE" and "GO CROSS GO" chants going.

Too bad with the students gone, we won't have a big crowd for the first true home game. Should be a very intimate crowd on Friday. Monmouth on Sunday should be a better draw.

Brief, but they chose some good highlights I concur. Breezy in the light, informal capacity. Impressed they threw this together so soon after the game.

Wins Over Harvard in football and basketball....how sweet it is! Yes, it is. I've had it in for Harvard teams since the 1965 HC-Harvard football game in Cambridge when a Harvard student dressed as a bishop or cardinal appeared on the sideline to bless the Harvard team.

Started to see some of that poise that showed up last March. And the D was indeed full of energy - Chambers was SO annoyed at having his passes deflected by AnT's legs time and time again. KC starting to round into form. MH getting some stuff done. And PB - what a pleasant surprise. Couldn't understand Amaker at the end. HC had the ball up 11 with what, a little over a minute left, and they let the shot clock wind down to 9 seconds before fouling? His frosh are impressive, though. Glad we got this one!

I vaguely recall the Harvard band at fball games doing some anti religious routines. They have a reputation for being irreverent. Harmless.

More and more impressed with Benzan's distributing and moves at the rim. Hasn't shown yet a jumper with range.

Even one of Harvard announcers questioned the no quick foul route. Charles and Thompson only 2 at line all game for the Cross.
