I just realized that South Carolina State will be playing Monmouth on Saturday afternoon at the Hart Center. Wondering if that will have the lowest attendance for a men's basketball game in Hart Center history. I know we've put up some low numbers in certain years but who is going to that game outside of the traveling parties for each team?

There were a couple of PL games where we drew in the 500 range during the 2014-15 season.
Given that this isn't part of a double-header, it's hard to see there being more than a couple hundred people in attendance.

The games in question were during pretty bad snowstorms in a pretty bad snow year. There was a game vs Brown back in 1996 that drew about 300 when #1 UMass played #2 Memphis St in a sold out Centrum on the same night. Non-Alum Dave was one of the 300

The Saturday game is part of some kind of package with the Friday game...1/2 price admission I think for Saturday. Maybe that will help

I will be there Friday with my "non alum son." I also signed up for free tickets for the Monmouth--SC State game but not sure I can/will go to that.

A combination of snow and interest in the program dwindling.

Worcester State had the Hart as home court several years ago, their court was being built, or re-built. I checked attendance at several of the games, low /. very low hundreds. With a larger enrollment than HC, and presumably a Worcester-centric student, family, and alumni fanbase, told me all that I needed to know.

Wouldn't be something if Saturday's game at the DCU has larger attendance than HC's appearance there?
