With only 1 win in our last 6 games (hockey, that is), I have to wonder what is wrong with this picture? There was one tie was with AIC and the one win was against Mercyhurst. Is anyone injured or is it just that the schedule is too difficult? It does seem strange to read calls for a tougher schedule with bigger name opponents when 5-5-2 is the record of this team. Any insights on this? The AIC weeked was strange. 3 games in 4 days as we upset Union on a Tuesday, had an away game at AIC on a Thursday, and home vs AIC on Friday. We always have trouble at Mercyhurst and played ok both games. Couldn't close it out in the loss. The loss at ND was a tough one but I'm proud of how they played. Dominated them in the 2nd, even had a lead, but the Irish were too much. The Yale game was inexcusable. We were worn down by a physical opponent and let in a couple we'd like to have back. I think scheduling has a lot to do with it. We finish the semester with good AHA league competition. That will tell a lot

Considering our hockey facility, it's remarkable how competitive we are with top D-1 programs. We have yet to tap our full potential.
