Colleges in Boston and I assume NY, Philly, Washington, etc., don't have TV Sports anchors regularly pumping up their football games on the evening news broadcast of a station that carries most home games like HC has with Kevin Shea. Lehigh, Lafayette, Bucknell and Colgate might have something similar but in smaller communities than Worcester. The current Chesney excellence leverages that advantage. Um, many people don't have Charter cable anymore though...I wonder even how many people watch that station anyways

I just hope that all the ticket sales end up with people in the stands instead of hanging on the baseball field tailgating!

It's similar to Netflix.

Maybe more if weather is good. 7200. Last year they hosted Fordham for Homecoming and drew 2,950. Maybe the chance to see the #1 team in N'England will bring in those incremental 4,300 butts I'm projecting.

It'll be interesting what we draw for Fordham. It really can't get much bettah for a Fitton home game in this day&age: an undefeated HC team, a solid opponent, Family Weekend crowd, October weather etc. I expect somewhere in the 15-17K range myself. If we can't draw that type of crowd for that game, will we evah again?
It will be interesting what the Lehigh and Bryant games draw at Fitton if we continue to remain unbeaten.

All I know is that I intend to be at every home game cheering on the Crusaders.
Would be nice if a lot of alums, non-alums, family members and locals also show up too and maybe some opposing fans but I can not control what others do. I’ll be there rain or shine. . . . or snow having had lots of practice having lived in Syracuse. 😉

I will happily follow the Crusaders wherever they play after Thanksgiving
