Wow. Go URI and Maine. Some good wins. CAA is a mess. Elon beat Bill and Mary, Bill and Mary beat Delaware. URI beat Elon. Looks like the UNH vs Elon game next week might be for the title! I love all of the Big Sky and CAA chaos.

Fordham came alive in 2nd Q. 31-0 at 52 seconds left in first half DeMorat (261 passing yards in the first half) and co are simply demolishing the quarterback-less and winless SBU. PL will win one today! |

At the half FU's lousy "D" is pitching a shutout against shorthanded winless SB. FU up 31- 0. DeMorat can sling it.

From Oceanside HS (for the Long Islanders out there). He did OK as a fill in last week v UNH but is completely overwhelmed out there. And DeMorat is the opposite. |

SBUs backs are hurt, very young and very inexperienced QB is a bit slow-footed, and SBU pass plays are predictable so it’s a perfect storm for QB pressure. |

Now they have a week to rest and gameplan for HC. Hopefully overconfident coming off the blowout of banged up SBU.
Somewhat surprised by the Charleston Southern score. The only Bryant game I watched was vs Brown and then I watched quite a bit of the Brown vs Harvard game. Thought the Bulldogs were a little better than their record indicated. Who knows anymore!

Villanova lost 20-10 to Richmond, now 3-3 (also lost to Monmouth, losers to Maine today).

DeMorat will be the best passing FCS qb HC has faced all year. He gets protection from his line. FU has a good running game to provide cover for the passing game. His receivers made some acrobatic catches and regularly picked up yards after the catch. I would not count on FU's weak defense to save the day. I think overall HC is physically stronger than FU. HC will need to successfully pound & ground to take time off the clock. And score. FU is not ten feet tall but they have a heckuva team as does HC. Expect FU will be a major test.

Unquestionably, the Rams are the biggest test remaining on the regular schedule. But I remain of the belief that we've handled them every year DeMorat has been their QB and while they may have improved, every indication is that the Crusaders have improved even more.

I wonder how their line compares to last year. On today's game notes, they have 3 seniors, 1 grad student, and 1 sophomore playing line. All but the soph over 300 lbs (but are they agile??). I just found the game notes for our game last year and 3/5 linemen are new this year compared to the two deep 2021. |

Lafayette is currently undefeated in the PL and (at 1-0) ready to move ahead of HC with a win on Saturday.
Massey has HC as a 20 point favorite (27-7) with a 93% chance for the win (so Lafayette does have "a chance" as they say)
