have to get one of these games where we have the talent to prevail. but midweek up in burlington is a tough spot. uvm is 2-4 and there are 2 common opponents. uvm beat dartmouth by 5 at home and was blown out at yale by 29.
frosh maddy smith is starting the recent games in place of tricia byrne who has been in a big shooting slump. byrne is a jr and the team needs the leadership from the junior class.

Manis fouls out, HC getting no love from the refs tonight, VM lead back up to 12, all over but the tears. Need to find other scores than Manis or Thomas who has had a poor shooting night

The team seems to take time to warm up at the start of each half. Not a good team effort tonight. I hope they get it together against Penn State or it could be a very ugly game next time out.

definite reason for concern on our prospects for this season. our only win was a 4 point margin over marist who shot 26% from the field that day. our 2 veteran guards, doherty and byrne are shooting a combined .307 from the field through 7 games we are being outrebounded by 43-36, and depending on a frosh Manis (who is very good) for our inside game.
hard to say how this can be fixed.
