Harvard is also playing The University of St. Thomas and Howard University. So their OOC is an interesting hodgepodge of Pioneer Football League, MEAC, and Patriot. I’m thinking we beat them by 3 TD’s in front of a raucous and 99.9% Holy Cross crowd.

Agree. It is a natural for HC games at Polar Park to be scheduled against other New England colleges. Believe EBW was from Connecticut. Call it the EBW All New England Cup. A Plaque prominently displayed in Polar Park w/ the winners, date etc would be terrific. HC - Polar Park - Worcester might benefit from a bit of NY style flashy Madison Ave. PR promotion. Grow HC-New England football at Polar Park into an event. The local media would love it. And, Town-Gown?

How about Merrimack vs Stonehill at Polar Park while they have the field all set up for FB for the annual EBW Classic? The capacity and ticket prices at Polar Park are way more than at either of those two schools and the location is in between the two campuses. They could have a two year series with each school hosting once to try it out. Make Worcester a college FB hotbed again with Assumption rounding out a three week college football schedule at Polar.

Did the press conference say what kickoff time will be? I’d hope that they could make it a night game with 6 or 7pm start

Hats off to the New England Football Journal. That kid (#51) and #50 (Thor) will be two of the better D lineman we face all year. IMO, Harvard had one of the most talented and deepest D-lines we faced last season next to only SDSU and Buffalo. They were fairly neutralized by our OL’s best performance all season. We will need a repeat performance this year.

So, the team was quite beatable last year (notwithstanding d-line talent) and I like our chances this year.

Quite possibly the nicest, most polite trash talk I’ve ever heard.

"We like our chances" seems to me to be a far cry from expecting a win. Thought he was well spoken and modest and said about all that he could under the circumstances. That said, I am sure that BC will have the guys not looking past Harvard or any team on the schedule.

Poor Harvard guy looks likes he’s never been to a gym next to Dobbs.

BC should host a press conference for the Boston Media to preview the HC-BC game. Will they?
