Flanagan draws a great off foul, HC turns it over Army scores, Flanagan fouled & makes both HC 60-54

IIRC, Hope Brown originally committed to HC, then changed her mind to commit to Army. Yup, opening up a slot for AL who was a late addition. And AL was originally off to Canisius before a coaching change there.

Did not see the game but in looking at the box score one big factor was Army’s Sabria Hunter (who killed us in Worcester) was held to 3 points on 1 of 7 shooting - would guess Berger did a good job matching her physicality I’m impressed with this win and now it’s time to knock off BU

High Point played great today! Good win! I noticed that too! Tough day for the ESPN 3 graphics; scoreboard, at least here, didn't show up until 8 minutes left in the game.

Fortunately, down the stretch, they matched us miss for miss (q3 and beginning of q4 they made a bunch).

Hunter also in foul trouble and eventually fouled out. Great HC D today Edit...#4 Hall fouled out, their high scorer today

If HC loses to BU and Lehigh wins, who finishes second? Teams split and neither will have beaten BU.
Would be nice to potentially have two home games (or 3 if someone knocks off the Terriers).

Good question. Army announcer kept saying we clinched 2nd. But doubt that's true yet. Believe if LU beats Army for a 2nd time that may be the tie breaker

I believe Lou is right. If our records are tied with a loss to BU and a Lehigh win over Army, the first is head-to-head. We split. The next is a team's record against other league opponents beginning with the first place team. BU is a wash because we will have both been swept. So the next comparison would be Army. We split with Army and, in this scenario, Lehigh would hold a sweep over Army. Which means Lehigh would be 2nd and we would be 3rd. Folks checking my math, we good?

If AWP loses to LU and Colgate wins their game, they will be tied and the tiebreaker for those two teams gets more complicated

If AWP loses to LU and Colgate wins their game, they will be tied and the tiebreaker for those two teams gets more complicated In that scenario with Army and Colgate tied, Colgate would win that tiebreaker due to their sweep of Lehigh.

Which means in the tiebreaker, Colgate is the next team down. We split with them and they swept Lehigh. So Crusaders would finish second.

So we're rooting for Army and Colgate on Wednesday. Just need one of them to win to finish in second place

No, Colgate can't finish higher than 4th. The avenues for HC to finish 2nd, beat BU or if lose, Army needs to beat LU. If AWP wins, they clinch 3rd, & LU 4th, if they lose & Colgate wins, Colgate takes 4th & AWP 5th.

If AWP wins, they clinch 3rd, & LU 4th, if they lose & Colgate wins, Colgate takes 4th & AWP 5th. Correct, Colgate can't finish higher than 4th. But for our tiebreaker, if we lost to BU and Lehigh beats Army, then we are both at 12-6, tied for 2nd behind BU. The team that finishes below that would be Colgate if they can win their game against Loyola on the road. So in that scenario, Colgate and Army would have the same record. And Colgate wins the tiebreaker between the two. So it would be: 1. BU 2. TIED: Lehigh and Holy Cross 4. Colgate 5. Army Now, when applying the tiebreaker in that finish, Holy Cross would claim second due to the fact that HC split with Colgate while Lehigh got swept by them. If Colgate loses when Lehigh beats Army, the tiebreaker team that decides 2nd/3rd would be how we each played against Army first. Lehigh swept them, we split. So we would finish 3rd. My head hurts, did I do that right?

Yeesh, I think that's right, forgot Colgate beat LU twice. Colgate's certainly playing for something, then....home court in a potential game with Lehigh; who they beat twice. Loyola, their opponent, OTOH, is locked into 9th. And if Colgate loses, not sure if they even finish 5th. Crazy. American beating HC and Lafayette beating Lehigh might also come into play here.
