Navy up 6-0 in the 5th in Game 1. Bucknell not really showing up. Must still be mad at us about the whole basketball thing.

Lost 4-2. We are locked into the #2 seed. Annapolis is a nice place if we have to play there. Obviously would prefer they lose in the semis and we win so we can host the final series.

Bucknell beat Navy in the final 6-4. Don't know if Navy, knowing outcome of the HC-Lafayette series, went deep into their roster.

Bucknell beat Navy in the final 6-4. Don't know if Navy, knowing outcome of the HC-Lafayette series, went deep into their roster. Navy used their heir regular starting lineup and regular starting pitcher. This game was going to decide whether Bucknell,or Lafayette made the tournament, so good sportsmanship required Navy to put forth full effort.

i think we would have clinched home field throughout the playoffs with a sweep today, really too bad. we split with navy, both navy and hc won 3 of 4 from lehigh and we swept bucknell while navy won 3 of 4; that would have decided it in our favor. in order to stay sharp the team has scheduled a dh with lesley college (have not heard of this institution) for next sunday may 8th.

Lesley's main campus is right next to Harvard Law School. At times, its hard to know where Harvard's property ends, and Lesley's begins. Several years ago, Lesley entered into a partnership with the Episcopal Divinity School (on Brattle st.) to share facilities in common. Thus, a part of Lesley's campus became instant-old, as the Divinity School campus dates from the 19th Century.
