Two home games and hop on the turnpike. If BU gets knocked out in an early round, the PLT could run through Worcester. Got to win ONE game in the tournament FIRST... Extremely difficult to look past an opponent who beat you the last time. (no way Navy's beating AU).

Why wasn't that block by Flanagan ruled off of BU after the replay? Went off the kid's shoulder, didn't it? refs looked at the crappy angle, not the better one ESPN had.

It seems like the Telegram has stopped covering home hoop games.

Not the espn camera. But they also didn't ask to look at the other view After a crew several games ago spending 5 minutes deciding if there were 8 seconds left instead of 7; or something as irrelevant as that*; icing the foul shooter in the process. *considering the ball was being inbounded at midcourt one way or the other and would in no way, shape or form dictate what the offense or defense was going to do.

It seems like the Telegram has stopped covering home hoop games. they appear to have increased their HS coverage and more or less ended their college coverage - T & G has laid off/retired a lot of folks in the last couple years. I'm surprised/disappointed that didn't cover last night's game.

I'm surprised/disappointed that didn't cover last night's game. Typically the hs games are covered by independent contractors and a lot of their articles end up appearing on more than one paper (internet or print). Also, the hs tournament started this week; hopefully they'll pay attention to the HC women next week when the games count more than last night's did.

I wouldn't bet on it, I expect we might see an article in the next couple of days summarizing the season, especially if one or two kids make the all league selections. T & G has been subbing out their coverage of college games also, but this season there seems to be fewer game writeups, surprising as the program has been pretty successful the last 2 seasons. Basically, if Toland does go, no article.

The last few games for Flanagan has really impressed - last night another one with 7 pts on 3 of 6 shooting, 4 rebs and 4 assists (zero turnovers) in 29 minutes She has to be a lock for All Rookie team

Between Berger, Allen and BPC, will anyone from the second place team make first team all league?

Off the top of my head, I'd guess Weimar & Johnson (BU), Hottinger (Lehigh) are likely, probably Therien after that who knows, I'd guess BPC as her numbers are good, but will she be hurt by the several games she disappeared. Berger has a shot at 2nd or 3rd , Allen not so much.

That is one problem with a deep team that uses most of its players. They don't rely on one person (or 2) and the stats are spread around...thus no first team selections. But second for regular season and watching this group develop are two nice "consolation" prizes.

Too lazy to look up other teams' players, but one thing about Bronagh - despite the "disappearances" (agree there have been those), all her counting numbers are better than last year's. And she was a good player last season. I think sometimes we take her a little for granted.
Berger is averaging a double-double per forty, getting to the line more than anybody else, and making 78% of her freebies. Ranks top 5-10 in the conference by a number of measures. 2nd team (hope), and quite a story.

Lindsay has made one heck of an improvement in the last year. Imagine this team if all of the returnees make similar improvements by next season...then add in the new recruits. Such dreams bring a smile to my face.

I agree completely, perhaps I should have been clearer in saying the games where her scoring disappeared. Even in the games she didn't score, she played great D, rebounded and otherwise contributed. It's too bad they don't have a most improved player award, that would be Berger hands down.

Let’s hope that Meg can make similar improvements in her play over the next six months and earn additional time next year. Having her height with agility could provide the ingredient that is needed against the more physical teams in the league.

Second for regular season but heading into the PLT with "Big Mo" (momentum) on their side after knocking off the nervous looking Terriers. BU tried to send their undefeated record onto the floor and get credited with an 18th victory. The scrappy Crusaders had other ideas.

Have seen hints of potential from Meg, Munt, Donnelly, Wright, etc. We only lose one senior and gain two new players next year so there will be a logjam of talent looking for minutes. A good problem to have.

If the coaches get things together, there does not have to be any kind of logjam. That was one thing we seemed to have from very early on. I could see as many as 8 player with big minutes (20 or more) per game average.
