New book Georgetown, Jesuits, slavery. Jesuit obstinancy

I like history. Studying it is valuable. Assigning responsibility to individuals not alive when ancestors did bad things is not compelling to me. The Jesuit Order was alive then, is alive now and according to historical accounts did bad things, so that is something different.

I hope reparations are all voluntary because while the Jesuits may be flush, most Religious Orders are probably not and don't have many members left in their prime earning years.
