BC announced their ooc schedule and HC plays at BC on Monday Nov 6 to open the season. I really don't like what looks like a strong-arm tactic from BC that they won't come to Worcester any more - I think I've seen BC playing 'at' Harvard and Northeastern in recent seasons
any other ooc games that HC13 or others know about ?

The last game in Worcester attendance was 817. The last game in Boston attendance was 604. If BC asked HC to play at BC this year to balance their schedule, HC may well have said sure. I wouldn't drop BC even if they required all games in the Hub.
Both Kit Hughes and Coach Magarity had brief stays at BC years ago so hopefully relationships are good and the series continues on an annual basis with HC negotiating as close to a home and home arrangement as possible.

Don’t forget BC grad assistant coach played 4 years at HC before going on to Wisconsin. She may have some influence as presumably the Eagles hierarchy like her.😊

P.S. who said BC won’t ever come back to Worcester?
P.P.S. Said grad assistant told me weeks ago about the game at BC. We did not discuss a return bout.

Last time BC WBB came to Worcester may have been my freshman year 06-07 when we played at Hart. I could definetly be wrong.

With HC's commitment to the town, might we see a M&W OOC double header @ DCU?

With HC's commitment to the town, might we see a M&W OOC double header @ DCU? "It's so rational ... Worcester County National" The jingle of the sponsor of the last DCU tournament. That bank has been gone for decades. Getting a sponsor to underwrite a tournament seems to be a hurdle. Getting a crowd in excess of the Hart capacity with teams HC could afford to entice to Worcester without a generous commercial sponsor would be another.

The women played BC at the Hart twice while I was in school and did so as recently as 19-20. We won once while I was in school and we won in 19-20. goholycross.com/sports/womens-basketball/schedule/2019-20Edit: Just beat out haha

To avoid looking like a complete buffoon, Foley (who stated ACC teams don't need to visit lowly Patriot League schools) should check and double check his facts, first.

Stop picking on Foley, please! He just presents alternative facts to the table. The definition of "alternative facts" is: "doesn't matter if it's true or not, as long as I believe it."

While we joke and love the Costanza clip, while funny, it is technically correct as the definition of “lie” is: “A lie is something that someone says or writes which they know is untrue.” So, if you believe it, then you don’t know it’s untrue and therefore NOT a lie. Yet, factually incorrect.

Yet, factually incorrect. The new coaching staff at BC hasn't played at a lowly rated PL school since her first season which is when they played at Holy Cross. The only other non Boston schools (outside the power 6) they have gone on the road to play is UMass.

Seasons Tickets for BC WBB start at $65 for adults and $25 for children. If BC is offering pay games to it's mid major opponents, they are just burning money.

I seriously doubt they are offering pay games. Maybe enough to cover the bus costs and dinner. Their average attendance last season was 1000 per game and I'm sure some of those people didn't pay. Best case they generated $5000 per game from ticket sales.

I’m convinced that we avoid Harvard and Yale - they’re both generally very good but there’s no reason we haven’t played them in many years - neither one requires an overnight stay when playing at their place

As both of those fine institutions have new or relatively new head coaches, now would be the time to reach out for a game or two.
Wonder if UNH played either one during Magarity's tenure there.
