I think it is pretty clear, Jump Ball has jumped over the record books at HC. Anyone ever watched the late Johnny Turco play? His name is in the record books and had the receiving TD record in a single game until the 90's. It is my understanding he was used as a runner and receiver. I have no doubt Jalen is superior, but I'm curious now since his is a name we haven't heard much about and whose name appears on a gameday trophy (homecoming?) Of course you realize the reason Turco has not been mentioned here is no poster has seen him play live.1949-51 pretty impressive Wiki page en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_TurcoCheck his baseball stats tragic death at 30

Jalen is the best. I am not being a prisoner of the moment.
He has had so many big game situation catches in his career!

Two who haven't been mentioned yet here are Duffner-era WRs Lee Hull and Michael Lewis.
I don't have their stats in front of me now but I know Lee played in the CFL and Lewis was very much a Coker-type of receiver i.e. fast, big, good hands etc

I remember a Tom Hennessey and maybe an Al Snider who were good receivers in the late 50s or early 60s. Got into a lot of Al Banx cartoons.

Yah I'd say Jalen is in a league of his own. And they don't even throw that much. About 20 pass attempts per game. Imagine if they ran the run and shoot.

Been watching HC football since ‘73. The game has changed so much over the years, so you are not comparing apples to apples. That said, he’s the best clutch receiver I’ve seen at HC. I think we will be watching him on Sundays.
