OK, that last 4th down play showed nice coverage by HC.

on the off chance of a bubble at-large I'm running it up. Score now and try to get one more possession to get into the 40s

Laffy is 9-2 not 8-2 Kevin G.

And we don't score. Run the ball to run out the clock. Classy I suppose. Let's have a nice senior day ceremony to take my mind off of Chensey going for it when he should have taken points early vs BC, Laffy, and Army. Admirable job with all of our injuries.
Congrats to Jake on the tackle records.

A decisive win is a decisive win whether its by 3 scores or 4 scores. The game ought to be played the right way.

In the extremely small chance department, last year's Fenway Bowl pitted Cincinatti vs Louisville. A poster indicated there might not be enough FBS Bowl eligible teams for all the Bowls this year. Why not make that game on December 28 at 11AM relevant to New England with a BC-HC rematch if as expected HC does not get an at large bid and BC can't do any better than the Fenway Bowl seven days after the winter equinox?

I normally agree. In the situation in which we don't control our destiny we can only control what we can control. Georgetown should understand that we needed style points. If this was for a NESCAC title maybe we take a knee.

One can dream! In reality though, if there aren't enough JMU gets 1st lick. And Army will also potentially be 6-6 with 2 FCS wins (if they beat Navy) and would likely be next in line.

Wonderful careers for those guys who are done. It’s been a long sensational ride since Yankee Stadium and when TG was fired after Yale. Our last two recruiting classes have been first rate. I am looking forward to the fruits of the staff’s great job bringing them in.

I'm not even sure if FCS teams would be allowed if there were not enough 5 win teams to fill in for the 6 win teams. The NCAA with Charlie Baker seem to be turning into MLB under Kennesaw Mountain Landis or NFL Goodell. Feel for JMU!

Don't get the vibe nor care about a third rate local bowl game, rolling up the score, etc. Today is a day to celebrate the wonderful accomplishments of this year's senior class & the HC football team.

Anyone else get a little emotional watching the Sluka CJ embrace? Looked like some tears in CJ’s eyes. Two warriors. Can’t wait to watch CJ prepare for the NFL draft this post season.

They played well today, all you can ask. Except maybe better camera work, they didn't do justice to a few long pass plays!

A consolation: these guys get to spend a Thanksgiving with their families - they deserve that and all boosters can give thanks that this group brought us so many happy Saturdays

I was lucky enough to be at today's game. HC came out focused and dominated Georgetown. Line play on both sides was very good. Some of the freshmen are going to be very good. Very few Georgetown fans there, and the few there were subdued. Very fun game.

Will we ever be so fortunate to see the likes of Matt Sluka again?

Will we ever be so fortunate to see the likes of Matt Sluka again? If we watch our diets, exercise regularly and take Ozempic to extend our lifespans..still very unlikely. Matt is one in a million.

I think the likes of Coker, Sluka, and Dobbs will go down in HC lore for generations. Happy we have Fuller for one more season.
Hopefully the next great star in the making will commit to HC with our fantastic recruiting.

Actually I wouldn’t be surprised to see Dobbs back here on the coaching staff after he takes off the pads

Agree. But that won’t be any time soon. He’s got a lot more football to play.
