Plus 7 rebounds, a Torey-like performance in that area.

8 assists and 0 turnovers sounds good to me! That sounds great to me.

The more I hear the more excited I get about the arrival of Tyler B next season And for good reason.
He is "special".
If we had him this year, we might have won 14 or 15 games.

Yes many times and he is worthy of all the compliments he received on this board, the Washington Post, and numerous scouting services

As I watched tonight’s game at Colgate and bemoaned the lack of a true point guard, I thought of Tyler. He would have helped us tonight in so many ways: 1- he can push the ball up in transition for early opportunities that we rarely receive 2- he can get us into our offensive sets quickly which we struggle to do 3- with time on the shot clock, he can create opportunities for himself and teammates by beating his own man, causing help and passing to the open man throughout the possession 4- toward the end of the shot clock, under 10 seconds, the time when we have struggled all season, Tyler will take it upon himself to break down his defender to create a good scoring chance for himself or a teammate (ex, see a lob to Caleb)
And those are only at the offensive end.

Could not agree more.
I don't want to put too much pressure on the kid but, even as a freshman next year, he can make the team so much more competitive.
I've watched three of his games this year and I find myself saying several times each game "Oh wow. That was special. I haven't seen a PG do that at HC in many years."

Tyler’s game reminds me more of Jave than Torey. His toughness (physical and mental) will be a welcome addition to this program.

These comments about Tyler Boston are on a similar plane as what Bob Ryan wrote in the Boston Globe about Ronnie Perry, jr. when young Ron was playing at Catholic Memorial HS.

Ronnie was a prolific scorer in high school and college. He was acclaimed nation wide. A 5 star player. Tyler is a prototype pass first point guard who is a 3 star player. He was 4th or 5th on his high school team in scoring. The most recent HC comparison is RJ Johnson,

I'm thinking the level of praise is on a similar plane. But don't want to put too much pressure on TB. RP Jr. stepped into an offense with Potter and Vicens and HC was off to the races. A little different now.

I think the best way to think of him is he is a winner that makes his teammates better—and reminds me of Tyler Boston

ESPN’s national rankings this week have Bullis #17. Tyler Boston was selected 4th team All-Met by the Washington Post. Ten first-teamers and 5 on the other 3 teams. Places him in the top 25 players, (all classes), in an area that I believe includes DC, MD and Northern VA.
