Her name is Neri Oxman. I'd imagine if there were multiple examples of inadequate citations within multiple academic works there would be calls for her to resign were she a college president. And quite appropriately. Stanford's president got tripped up by something along those lines last year. And resigned. Ditto Claudine Gay at Harvard (although Al Sharpton and Claudine Gay blamed racism LOL).

Given his willingness to ignore Musk’s antisemitism, I think it is safe to assume Ackman’s motivation had more to do with not wanting Gay as president than a concern about hate speech or plagarism. His business philosophy has generally been to try to profit off of failure so he was well suited for this job. Interestingly, while reading about Ackman this morning, I came across a dispute his Pershing company had with a business whose owners include a prominent supporter of HC athletics. Small world! BTW, the student journalist who played a big role in bringing down the Stanford president was the son of NYT reporter Peter Baker and Susan Glasser of the New Yorker.

While looking for info on the controversy referenced above I found another Holy Cross connection.

There is a very good chance Osvaldo Golijov met his current wife, Leah Hager Cohen, at…wait for it…The College of the Holy Cross.😱 www.holycross.edu/academics/programs/english/faculty/leah_hager_cohen This does not mean any of them are racists who wanted to see Claudine Gay fired. Or that Holy Cross was part of the plan. But you never know…

Gay's position was untenable. She had to resign. However the nasty phone calls & emails using racial epithets & the "n word" were clearly racist and out of bounds. Don't know if it was Rufo's group. Expect Harvard will hire another great leader.

Back to the matter at hand in regard conflicts and other serious issues presented within the funding and donations provided by large donors (corporations, organizations, governmental agencies, NGOs, public and private foundations).
Who is minding the store at Harvard in this regard? When might the Members of the Harvard Corporation including our own fellow Crusader alum Mr. Wells be seriously challenged on this topic?
How might we ever know if Holy Cross has accepted funds that present serious conflicts as well? Are we simply supposed to put blind trust and faith in the BOT when there is NO transparency on this front? Really?
In regard to Harvard, this passage seems particularly applicable in light of past longstanding relationships and both prior and present developments:
“Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea." Matthew 18:6

“Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea." Matthew 18:6 I receive a report every year from the Holy cross Fund that details the money raised, and lists contributors at every level.
td, have you noticed gaps in that report, or omissions, with funds that are unaccounted for? What is the "transparency" that you are looking for?
