Had Bob for history at SJ in the early 80's. NO lay teacher in the school ever commanded more respect.

Probably 99% of high school coaches either teach or work; and as we all know, the number of hours for practice, preparation and games are considerable. When you get older and still want to do it, not having to work is quite liberating (more time to do the little things involved with a program) and, I think, can make a guy like Bob even more successful.
