Only FIVE steps before he started to dribble. He looked startled when the ref called it.

westbook took even more steps than "football player" in this video.
btw, for anyone who spent hundreds of hours playing pickup outdoor basketball like yours truly, the stereotypes in this video are spot on and pretty classic!

Hilarious! For me, whenever I played in my youth, I was always the "my bad" guy..........

Why do even NBA stars point to themselves and indicate "my bad" when every one of the 19,000 spectators already know it was his bad? Why doesn't he just say.......

I've seen some good ones in girls basketball at the lower levels...like the kid who didn't know anything about inbounding the ball after a made basket and stood there dribbling it....with the ball on the inbounds side of the baseline (I think dribbling it on the other side is actually legal, not that I'd recommend it).
Also a kid who liked to do that old Mark Jackson pound-the-ball-into-the-ground-with-your-back-to-the-basket....only after about 5 seconds of this inexplicably thought that she should shoot for the OTHER basket and raced the ball down the court in that direction...and did this twice in the same game!
