I love Jeff Oliver, but his son should not be a starting TB. Way too slow and stiff I disagree with this. I think its nice to have power at the running back spot. The fast running backs are good for the PL but don't do much against much faster teams. RB take big hits need to gave some size. I do agree that when Oliver is running the ball the QB needs to be under center.

I think HC can get to 10 wins this year during the regular season.
Outside of a tough road game vs Fordham HC should role away with the PL title for the third year in a row.

Yale and Harvard should be on the schedule every year, much like football. I get Harvard but I think we can get a better game every year instead of Yale.

Now going to be played at DCU. I think it would be a better environment at the Hart but it should draw really well. Not full up the DCU, but probably better then some NCAA regionals at the DCU. We will see.

Is Rob Feaster still around the MA area? Does he still follow the team?

hosting-6751.tributes.com/obituary/show/Charles-S.-Hourihan-108511124Charlie was accepted to both Princeton and The College of the Holy Cross to play in their football programs. The College of the Holy Cross offered him a full scholarship and, for those who knew Charlie well, his choice was obvious. Charlie played four years of football at Holy Cross while earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Physics.

Five of us are planning to go. Anybody good ideas for seats? Get them at the game before? UConn isn't even selling single game tickets yet?
HC presale at the 20 yard line?

I hope HC wins the Ram Crusader Cup and takes the PL trophy home that week as well. Football Championship games in Lewisburg are lame.

Home against Lafayette has given HC trouble lately. Hope that gets corrected this year.

In 1983 vs BC Holy Cross was missing Fenerty who had 1,039 yards and 14 touchdowns
HC was missing Bill Crowley 43 catches for 665 and 8 touchdowns
HC was missing 1 AA All American Rob Porter.
That’s tough The footage of this game is on YouTube.

One of the best college pitchers of all time. In four years at HC, he was 50-2.

With the health and longevity of Cousy, Ron Perry, Sr. and Togo and with Tom Heinsohn continuing to work as a broadcaster up until his death, it didn't feel like we would be losing him anytime soon. But now I wonder if a statue of Heinsohn near the Cooz in front of the Luth might have been a nice gesture while he was alive. It's unlikely HC will produce any others with the pro careers of Cousy and Heinsohn. I agree but I wish they put a football statue outside of Fitton of Bill Osmanski or Eddie Anderson. It will never happen because they are so expensive. Fordham has a Ram statue and 7 blocks of granite. Syracuse has Jim Brown, Floyd Little, Yale has a bulldog statue. Brown has a bear statue.

News articles about this mentioned t hat Sen Joe Manchin of West Virginia was one of the dignitaries present. Can anyone confirm that? I wonder what the connection is, if any. Manchin supposedly advocated with Trump for Cousy's Presidential Medal of Freedom and is a long time admirer. That is exactly right. Manchin and his wife attended. Manchin spoke and talked about how he advocated for the medal of freedom.

The statue looks great with the jersey and the bronze.
I just wish the DCU had some basketball games. Outside of the globetrotters anybody know of any games there next year?
Funny thing is Cousy didn’t play at DCU or Hart.

Thank you Sader1970! Why do college sports have to get away from regional games where fans can travel and instead go across the country for the same opponent!

Good point. No way the college with the $1B endowment is going to be able to outbid the Boxborough Mites for ice time. HC has played there a few times when Holy Cross wasn't available. The one time I went, there was lucky to be 500 people there and it was free admission. There were more fans at the other rinks with their kids then in that one. What does this even mean? I am lost. There is more fans at a youth hockey game than at a college hockey game?
