Maybe I'll get more excited if there is news soon of a quality transfer signing, but I have to say I am having a really hard time getting pumped up when I think about what lies ahead in terms of the future of the sport.

I really wish the media would spend more (some) time on pointing out the instances where players lost the game of musical chairs.
I also would like to suggest this rule change: any multi time undergraduate transfers will no longer be permitted to wear the uniform of their latest school; rather, they can only play if they wear the John Blutarsky "COLLEGE" sweatshirt.

Before the out in the open $$$ festival aspect of things, the Ivies rarely lost a non graduate to transfer. Now they seem to be getting caught up in the same dank whirlpool. Let's see how long they keep up that lofty (by mid major standards) conference ranking.

If enough folks remain in their traditional seats, would TPTB change their minds and flip back?
Why can't the camera crew be instructed to use that end zone camera more frequently to pan to the south side of the field (and see all the fans in that section)? Seems like a rather drastic step to flip sides; not all change is good.

I'm really curious about this move by Coach Dan. I'm assuming he will get an increase in pay; wonder if he had a prior relationship with Autry (The Basketball Tournament, maybe?). I'm curious because I'm wondering if this might be the start of a trend - sitting low D-1 coaches latching on to a position in the pro-college division of NCAA basketball. Maybe he is as optimistic about the future of low D-1 ball as I am (which is, not very). He also had a couple of really good freshmen hit the portal; maybe that played a part. At any rate, good luck to a good guy. Wish JB a good transition as well.

Correcting myself: Thornton Mellon was on the diving team, not the swim team.

How long before the rules change again, to allow schools to poach players riding the pine in the NBA or G league (that still have some NCAA eligibility). Like Thornton Mellon joining the swim team in Back to School.
Hey Lebron - sonny doesn't have to play in the NBA; you've got eligibility, just join him back at USC!

Probably just a matter of time before they become Bilikens, assuming that roster has already been purged.
Good grief.

Ok, Mountain West Conference, here's the deal:
You gave us Dorsey We gave you Asante You gave us Octave We gave you Sluka
Your turn - bring us Manyawu
Looking at some videos, he reminds me a bit of a more athletic Louth. He sure would pair nicely with Caleb, but what is he looking for?

Ok, this young guy created some youtube videos this past season where he rates his visits to the D-1 venues in Massachusetts. Granted, just one guy's opinion, but he was quite complimentary of the Hart:
Here are others I could find:
Something to pass the time while waiting for the impact transfer to arrive.....

What's even sadder is now that fun to watch ISU team is likely to be dismantled, if (when) their players follow the coach to St. Louis.

At today's Sox at Angels game, there is a guy behind the plate (to the far right, in a run way) with a HC shirt on. He's been waving his arms to distract the Sox pitcher. He keeps popping in and out of view.

I remember driving up to Exeter Academy in the spring of 2017 (2017!) to see his team play for the NE Prep championship in their division...only I wasn't there to watch him, but rather Kyle Copeland. But very early on I remember checking out the program to see who the heck this kid was, who was playing very well. Javante McCoy was also on that team, and their opponent that day was a team (Milton Academy?) that featured Cormac Ryan, who just finished up his college career. Seems like a lifetime ago!

I hope it stays that way. It's the only way the league is going to improve. And I personally think those Loyola players should reconsider.
