WSJ story on Tillerson confirmation indicates that Margaret Peterlin is going to be his Chief of Staff. I googled her and found that she is an alumna. Here is the bio on her current employer's website. www.xlpcapital.com/portfolio-view/margaretpeterlin/Alumni directory reveals her to be class of 93. Obviously a talented woman who has succeeded at many different jobs.

Not deleting the thread, nht, just the politics as you and hoops quickly demonstrated why they were banned in the first place.

Reading a bio of her from 2007, she is a native of Daleville AL. That makes me think she attended HC on a NROTC scholarship.

Irrespective of whatever her political views might be she has a very, very impressive Resume. Certainly a credit to Alma Mater.

That makes me think she attended HC on a NROTC scholarship. yes... she was 1 of 12 HC students [17 total] commissioned from the HC NROTC Unit that year. from her bio it appears she stayed the in the Naval Reserve, attaining the rank of Commander. this year the Unit will commission the 100th [as well as 101 & 102] woman into the Navy & Marine Corps; the first was commissioned in 1976, the first year woman were eligible for NROTC commissions nationwide.

Thanks for sharing that. I was unaware of the NROTC tradition at HC. Congratulations to all three upcoming Naval officers! PS: Any way to determine who will actually be #100? Perhaps, a three-way tie will be the answer.
