Joe was a fixture at Class Chair/Correspondent events and he and his wife were always gracious to me and Mrs. sader1970 as it seemed we often ended up at the same table. He graduated from the same high school as my mother in the year that I was born, so we would joke about those connections. He was one of the older alums that always struck my wife as being so outgoing and friendly and gave you the impression that they were just so glad that we too were part of their Purple family. Those events just won't be the same.
May Joe now rest in peace and that his family find comfort in his well-led life.

Today's funeral ended with the Holy Cross choir singing alma mater. They were fantastic and it was a fitting tribute.
