Wonder if the "executive search firm" they use will be none other than CSA? ??

Could ADNP be on their radar?

ADNP leaving would be a big loss, but losing him to BC would be humiliating.

IMO, for someone like ADNP, its hard to see a resume upside in becoming AD @ BC. The two most important programs are mired in the bottom tier of the ACC, and there's no clear path upward. Plus, BC, as an institution, seems to be gravitating toward academics when it comes to an academics / athletics tradeoff. That doesn't help when competing with FSU, Clemson, UNC, the 'Ville, etc.

BC is one of the toughest P5 AD jobs in the country, and the new AD (whoever it is), will probably be hiring a football & basketball coach early in their tenure, and will be judged on that as well.

Not so sure that Christian will be fired He is 9-18, 2-12, which is bad, but better than last season and his best players are sophs and a frosh

Think about this for a second: since the start of '15-'16 BC has an ACC play aggregate record of 8-70 in FB, MBB & WBB.

Pomeroy has BC mens hoops at 146 closest ACC team is NCState at 104 and we know what happened there where the expectations are quite a bit higher

Can't see how BC would hire someone who comes from a football-less school.

Can't see how BC would hire someone who comes from a football-less school. So if the writer and you are correct, that would obviously leave McLaughlin. Would the BC job pay much more than the Va. Tech one ? Since the two major sports at Va Tech seem much more promising of success, unless Lahey completely caves on admissions

And no FB at VCU so I doubt it would be either of the 2 names the writer floats, as he's merely floating familar names with ties to BC, not necessarily legit candidates.
