I could see where a student might be irate if he/she learned that his tuition was financing a private plane for a coach's comfort. Of course, winning can make many things possible (even with irate students).

My recollection from living in Columbus was that Ohio State had their own airport and believe a flight school and was sure that was going to be a connection the story (like the flight instructors in the OSU school also worked as pilots to fly the bigwigs around on the side.)

common practice at the fbs and power bball conferences. notre dame can get back to south bend from an acc road game faster than we can bus back to worcester from our pa. road games. without this mode of private air transportation, a school is at a big recruiting disadvantage.

Does Osu football turn a profit? I believe it does. One booster worth six billion dollars gave the school a hundred million dollars one year. I believe the athletic department gave the school three or four million two complete a library project. I believe the Buckeye Club donates 3 million a year to the athletic program. Urban Meyer is well compensated and well taken care of because he wins football games at Ohio State. No one is b*thing at ohio state except when they lose to umich. Think of how our guys suffered in all that bus travel in those four games last year.

Is using Worcester airport a possibility? What would the financials look like for fball, bball, baseball, hockey? Justification: Lessens the burden of sports travel on players' academics.
