We just stand and watch rebounds. Rarely put a body on anyone.
I like what JF brought tonight and for the season.

This was a huge missed opportunity. This Navy team was very beatable tonight even with the home court advantage. Had we played anywhere near decent we would have been able to win this game. Really too bad. When does football start ?

Team had enough talent to get a quarterfinal home game. Some bad losses in league cost us.
Team was missing something all season (besides offense.)

Navy has fallen apart completely--have not been able to put the ball in the basket for the last five games. Their good fortune was running into us tonight. If they don't get their act together they'll lose by 20 in next game At least they will be playing

Bucknell would have beat us by 25 if we had won tonight. We had no bench and were weak at every position. Was it coaching or talent. I think mostly talent, but after siting thru 37 losses over last two years and seeing talent that CBC has brought in, not feeling that hopeful for future.

It's unimaginable how bad this team will be next season unless 2 or 3 of these freshmen can't step right in. All 3 returning veterans who were part of the 7 regulars have big holes in their respective games.

Maybe, but style of play has change. What would we be saying if the was CMB's team losing like this tonight?? Would be a thread about 10 pages

The end of a very uninteresting, unexciting and uneventful season.

Raise your hand if you'll miss out of control Ant drives. ...let's just hope that PB is not the only option in 2017-8 because IMHO he's not going to improve much.

#1, not many options left, shot clock running down. Benzan wouldn't have even gotten a shot off. #2 Inexcusable. Terrible shot.

I hope the incoming Freshman can handle the basketball and shoot. PB and AT were good ball handlers but were a huge offensive liability. IMO KC could be a great player but needs to really work on his dribbling skills. If he could develop his ball handling skills driving to the basket without causing an offensive foul he would be unstoppable. He has all the other tools.

Better days ahead with better players coming into the program. God I hope you are correct. This was such a PAINFUL season to watch. Can't say this team was enjoyable to watch. I kept thinking of Bob Knight being asked about what he liked best about one of his not-so-good teams. "The thing I'll like most about this team is not having to watch it play any more"

HC's marquee teams had a great year, didn't they? Give everyone a big raise. What a joke of an athletic department.

seniors... please start playing like seniors in an elimination game. After Champion stepped up at the start of the second half (13 points?) he was invisible the last 5 minutes. Navy did a great job on him, injury; or something else?

Whole <<< sum of the parts.
While we certainly weren't the '96 Bulls, to say that we came anywhere close to maximizing our potential would be fooling yourself.
An extremely disappointing season. 5th place finish and first round exit in this AWFUL, AWFUL year for the PL is just completely unacceptable. But what is most disappointing is that it is extremely difficult to see what we are building on. Our offense is extremely poor, and while our defense causes turnovers, it is gutted by any good team that we play. Next year's class may be talented but the batting average so far is .200, and even with a significant upgrade in talent, I just don't see a scheme that is going to advance us very far.

The end of a very uninteresting, unexciting and uneventful season. A thousand-fold this....it's just terribly unexciting basketball in probably the worst league atmospherically in the country.....hard to see this getting any bettah any time soon. Holy Cross simply has to start seriously thinking about exiting this league some how, some way....broken record I know....but this is BAD.

The P O is a very boring offense, especially when losing. Not sure how much of this I'll be able to watch next year.

^^^^ this isn't hyperbole either.....the game I coached in (and coached poorly) this week at CM, had much more fan-fare, people involved etc than our game at Navy tonight.....this league is just so DEAD hoop-wise.

I like the PO...when run well. We never ran it, all season. Tonite, Navy could claim to have run more of a PO than HC. CBC gesticulates wildly on the sideline when one of our players makes a physical mistake, but I've never seen him do the same when we passed up an obvious PO play. It's a mystery to me. Did CBC not insist that they run the PO? Or did he so insist but the players refused to do so? Lots of standing around....lazy.....NBAball. Did the players not believe in the PO, not believe in CBC? Why did CBC tolerate it?
