In my opinion there were two turning points in this 2OT game:
1.) A bad call against BU's Alston for his 5th foul. From what I saw he just stood there against TK  ! 2.) If Fanning hadn't tried to do everything by himself in the 1st OT, BU might have won it then !
BU had too many turnovers and should have taken this one! But, as I said earlier it is tough to beat a team 3 times in a season.
While on the officials....
Was watching the Navy/Buck game and could not believe the foul the Tony Crisp called on Navy when the Buck guy floats into the paint and bumps the Navy defender who was just standing there !
Can't believe that Navy would win this game and end up having to go to LU, but stranger things have happened! (See last year's PLT)  !
Just don't want to see TK (Snowflake) going to the dance! |

To watch that game and conclude BU had 0% chance of winning the patriot league is absurd. Betting that 9 other teams will win the whole thing versus one other team isn't a bold pick at all, but it still isn't the same thing as saying that BU has a 0% chance to win. If some of the whistles had been more favorable BU wins that game. |

scs, I have to agree. The 5th foul on Alston was terrible. There may have been a foul, but not by him! Also, Kempton was banging every BU player who came under t late in the game and through both OTs...no guts by the refs or he would have been long gone as well. Hearing the announcer talk about Kempton first as POY, then as 2 time POY who should have been a three time winner turned my stomach.  Nice job by your Terriers today! |

SCS....WHY all the suspensions at BU? Academics? Mums the word on the reason but one of the players will be graduating (of the three suspended). A pretty reliable source has indicated to me that Barnes and Mosely will likely be back next year, to be determined though. I know Mosely has been in the stands for some of the games at least. |

Guess what? Navy is really good and they have everybody coming back just about next year. They just gave Bucknell everything they wanted before losing.

Navy 's shooting has fallen apart completely. Check it for last 5 or 6 games---incredibly bad. Today Navy took 20 more field goal attempts than Bucknell thanks to the offensive rebounds. Coach Davis?  ? |

Navy lost 5 of its last 6 games and in that period shot 104/243 =.428 on twos and 23/120= .192 on threes. I just don't see how one could conclude that this is a good team and one to be feared next season. Navy is a puzzle, though, no doubt about it --had a stretch of great play earlier in the year but then fell apart
