Announcer mentioned that the Princeton coach Henderson played on the famous 1998 NCAA victory of Princeton over UNLV with Bill Carmody as the Princeton coach.

I didn't see last night's game, but I remember seeing the same teams play last year.
Whether because of superior skills or superior coaching, or both....Henderson's team plays the same kind of game CBC does but at a much faster pace. Their passing (and CATCHING) is quite impressive.
The announcers said that Henderson had made it a priority to speed up the game because with the shortened shot clock, he had no other choice. I hope Carmody is of the same mind because I think they run out of time way too often (which to me has disparaged AT's reputation as a ballplayer as much as anything...the shots he had to throw up were not exactly high percentage.
One thing I thought about Navy's win...they seemed to throw the same press at HC that BU did. It only came up with a turnover or two, but it rarely, if ever, got burned for a layup AND it almost all the time resulted in HC finally getting into its offense with 18-20 seconds left on the clock. BIG DIFFERENCE between 18-20 and 23-25.

We never had the opportunity to have an advantage to attack their safe press.
