Army was to play Harvard in a weekend series at WP, but those games now moved to Cary, N.C. some crazy change of venues going on in the northeast after the storm A number of northern schools should consider one of the types of field turf. Bucknell hasn't had any games cancelled due to field conditions since they installed it in late 2009. It's the same kind of turf used by Tampa Bay, and the team is very happy with its playability. And a game can be played within 12 hours after a major snowstorm and within an hour after 3-4" of rain. There are a large number of D1 college programs with field turf these days, and the list is growing. For example, more than half of the schools in the Big 12 have one of the new versions of artificial turf.

Bison, a factor for HC and field turf for baseball is that the field is in the same flood plain as the football field. Though I think it would be easier to berm dike the baseball field, so the risk of a flood ruining the turf would be less.
