Don't blame the kid. NCAA and NBA are responsible for stuff like this. Just let them come right out of high school or stay 3 years. If it's good enough for baseball it's good enough for hoops.

Baseball is a lot different however. High school signees play in rookie leagues with other 18-year olds and no real road trips. Players stay with families who act as chaperones. Entire structure is geared towards development of skills - both athletic and social.

There's a new 30 for 30 on Calipari called One and Not Done. I found it entertaining. According to him, the vacated Final Fours weren't his fault. He doesn't blame the players either because he loves those kids.
