No its's easy for them to overturn. Based on the past voting, it doesn't appear that they even look at the fan voting. Bucknell has had one athlete win the voting and another come in second in recent years. Both times, the award went to someone in the middle of the pack. Hey bise, how about a chuchu rah rah for Anthony Critelli and the Crossports gang who helped push him across the finish line. Bump

I can't tell you how many times I voted but when I read that our votes were just a part of the selection process, I honestly didn't think he would have a chance. Not that he wouldn't deserve it but simply because I figured it would be skewed towards a "bigger" program.
I am very, very happy for Anthony and also happy for all the support that he got from Crossporters.

This is mere speculation, of course, but I think that Anthony's margin of victory in the fan voting -- over 40% of all votes cast -- made it very difficult for the other voters to choose another of the candidates. If this should be true, then I think the Crossports voting campaign on his behalf was a significant factor in the final decision. That is not to discount the many qualities that Anthony himself brought to the contest. Nevertheless, I think that all posters who voted can take pride in Anthony's victory.
