Would rather see MM on the Celtics roster where with all the big $$$ going to several stars, there's room for some minimum salary guys. MM has improved his game every year with room still to go. Will root for whatever team he ends up with, even the Knicks. Go Malcolm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So it sounds like the current style of play in the NBA is improving his chances? I'd love to see him in Boston, but wherever he could find a place to fit in would be cool with me. Good luck Malcolm!

Malcolm may miss some time with twisted ankle , but it seems like the Raptors like him a lot signing him before the NBA summer leg games begin. The Raptors don't have lot of proven SF on there roster , so this could be great for Malcolm.
I've known Malcolm since his early HS days, and watching him grow as player and person is great. His mom would've been super proud of him.

Got a very quick glimpse of him sitting on the bench. Did not appear to be in uniform.

NBA/legalese gobble-dee-gook but I like at least this part: and: This is the first year that the NBA is using two-way contracts, which will operate much the same way as two-way deals in the NHL. An NBA player on a two-way deal will spend much of his season with his parent team's Gatorade League affiliate (they call it the "G League" now; it used to be known as the Developmental, or D League). In Malcolm's case, the Raptors' G League team is based out of Mississauga, Ontario, about a half hour southwest of Toronto. The team won the G League championship last year and is coached by former NBA player Jerry Stackhouse. Two-way players will make a minimum of $75,000 a year and can make up to $275,000, depending on how much time they spend with the NBA team. (Those salaries are much higher than they used to be; the idea is to entice more players to stay in the G League than play overseas. The more time the player spends on his NBA team, the higher his salary.) Two-way players can be with the NBA team for up to 45 days before their contracts revert to regular NBA contracts.

Thanks for the explanation. Sounds a little like MLB's AAA teams. A step below the majors but with the ability to go up (and down) as the parent team needs due to injuries, rehab or just a hot player. Good for Malcolm. Very solid player and very good person. Like Big Neil, lost a parent while playing at Holy Cross, which had to be very tough.

Excerpt...
Right now the Raptors roster currently stands at 17 if you include Malcolm Miller who signed a two-way and Kennedy Meeks who could sign the other two-way deal.

McCaffrey 46 pts vs a very good Iona team. He also had and incredible game vs UConn at home...I don't remember how many he had, but he hit jumper after jumper (deeper and deeper each time) as the game time ran down.... if I recall he has back to back games with 40 and 45 and was named SIs player of the week (when they used to do that)...I also think it was that year's swimsuit issue (as that used to be just an article and not an whole issue). he was fun to watch back in the day; almost single handedly won the MAAC tourney for us his senior year.

Chris Boucher of Oregon just signed a two way contract with the Warriors. He probably would have been drafted if he had not suffered a severe knee injury toward the end of the season
