HC paid 2 coaches in the same season - and more than TG makes - when NP launched MB. Yes, a lot more than TG makes. In FCMB's last year, he got total compensation of about $420,000. TG at that time was receiving about $240k, including benefits, value of pension contribution, etc. I doubt if he is making a lot more than that now.

OK. Maybe ADNP doesn't want to get into double payments again after his prior experience with it (or he's been told by TPTB that he will not be allowed to do it).

Of course anything is "possible," but IMO highly improbable. There appears to be a respect and understanding between TG and NP and has been posted often here, when the PL expanded the number of football scholarships, HC deliberately was slow to add them and we were at a disadvantage against Fordham and Colgate, notably. We've caught up but have been jinxed by injuries. While all teams have them, especially last year with Pujals, Guild and a number of lineman and secondary, we were especially hard hit. Those reasons can appear to be excuses and certainly at some point you can't keep using those excuses/reasons.
No question that the team has to be successful on the field this season. "Successful" will likely be evaluated by NP at the end of the season and will depend on many factors with the number of wins the most important but not the only factor.

By chance do you know the compensation #'s for all the PL football Head Coaches ? If Gilmore is making about $240,000, I'd like to know where he ranks....thanks.

Unfortunately the only readily available source is the list of each college's most highly compensated employees on Form 990. Bucknell's Joe Susan shows up on the July 2015 form with total compensation of $220,000. But coaches from colleges with large graduate schools with highly paid people (Lehigh, Fordham, Georgetown) will never make the cut. However, that is not the case with Colgate and Lafayette - who don't have grad schools - but their coaches didn't make the list, meaning they were making less than $230k. That would apply to their long-time coaches, Dick Biddle and Frank Tavani. While I have no source, I doubt anyone in the PL makes much more than Gilmore. Perhaps Andy Coen got more if he received a large bonus - but Lehigh typically hasn't been a big payer.

Now, maybe you have it handy, where does Gilmore stand versus his PL peers in W/L in league play only ?
( this is where that College Football Data Warehouse site came in handy )

GTown is playing the Johnnies at RFK this year. Good boost perhaps for the Hoya program.

I will take the under as well - and that is with tickets priced at $7. Quite a difference from the PL games in Yankee Stadium.

If it's marketed well, good weather etc....I could see a half-way decent crowd, say 12-15K...lot of Harvards in the DC area.
It's really not a huge jump from the regulah PL type crowd of 5-8K to get to 12-15K if the game is promoted well, played at an interesting venue (RFK, Yankee, Fenway) etc.

They will need a lot of Harvard fans or giveaways to get to your fantasy of 12-15
